Course Description:

This course is designed to provide current information regarding HIV/AIDS and Tuberculosis. In this course we will address details regarding the HIV/AIDS epidemic: modes of transmission; signs and symptoms; prevention methods; risk factors; and treatment strategies. Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) standards will be discussed.

Course runs from 8 am -1 pm.

Late policy

If a student is less than 30 minutes late for the start of the class on day one, then the student may make up the 30 minutes after the class with the instructor. If a student is returning more than 10 minutes late from breaks or lunch, they will need to repeat the day in another ICTP course corresponding with the same day that time was missed. If a student misses a day of the course, the student has 90 days to make up that particular day, otherwise they will need to repeat the course in its entirety.

Participants will receive a downloadable Booklet that goes along with the class. It can be printed out or you may use it electronically. It must be available and accessible during the course.
