Join us for our upcoming Medication Management Course.

In order to best care for residents with dementia, we as caregivers/ leaders must understand this incredibly complex disease and its processes. Understanding, assessing, and mitigating the challenging behaviors of residents with dementia requires a working knowledge of the types of dementia and specific behaviors associated with it.

Management/ leaders must understand the complexity of care and their role in resident communications and techniques to redirect, to provide support during dining, daily care needs, psychological, emotional, spiritual care, and methods to encourage independence and freedom of choice.

To understand and utilize methods to support engagement and enrichment to meet social needs of fulfillment. We will recognize and evaluate the tenets of person- centered philosophies and practices in the RCFE and ARF setting.

This is a 10-hour course via Live-Stream. The course begins at 8am and ends at 6:30pm with a 30-minute lunch and 10-minute breaks relatively every hour but not held to.
